   Billy ray was convicted of 2nd degree murder. This man murdered his own child, because the child walked in on a homosexual act & asked questions.

   4th appeal and I just got subpoena’d for the 4th trial of Bill Ray Castleberry. If D.A would stop bringing up lies about homosexual acts, a drug user and a woman beater, maybe this man could get on with his life since he has been punishing himself since that day in Feb, 2004. Every waking minute he is reminded why he is in there and when he goes to bed at night, I believe he must have nightmares.

   I do not believe since this all happened that Bill killed his son on purpose. Yes, he was an idiot for using a real gun but that gun was told it didn’t work and was broken by his boss. His boss told me directly in the waiting room at the courthouse in 2nd trial.

   The DA has lied and continues to lie about Bill and brings up his past from over 15 years ago.
   We all have made mistakes in our past and that is what it is, our past. Hopefully people have learned from their mistakes at that time and now continue on to be a better person. Bill Castleberry was wroking fulltime, raising his son alone, kept to hisself and had his son playing ball. We picked up Brandley a few times on the road we live on when he was walking home from school. Hestrin (DA) needs to come up with the truth for once. It’s only apparent that Hestrin isn’t doing his job right since Castleberry has gotten 4 appeals for the same crime. Let the man go and move on in his life. And my advice for Hestrin is to tell the truth Mr. DA and don’t make up lies about people you don’t know, never wanted to known, or gotten to know. Instead you listen to people who talk bad about someone so you can win that way. Yes Hestrin, you still make me sick to my stomach. You should become a cheat and a thief since that goes along with a liar.

   If you haven’t already read “Mean Justice” by Edward Humes and you’ll get a good idea what prosecutors in this country are all about. They make their living by prosecuting drug addicts and the mentally ill and are probably the worst kind of child abusers when it comes to prosecuting children as adults. Prosecutors as a whole are predators. Along with their buddies in the Prison Industry and Correctional Officers Unions. Along with their war on drugs which ultimately ruin the lives of people like me who have legitimate pain issues put whose doctors are only concerned with covering their ass because they don’t want to get nailed for over-prescribing. Particularly VA doctors who are probably among the worst when it comes to that issue. That being said. I’m wondering what evidence, exactly, the prosecotors and the typically dumb-ass jury used to convict this guy. I’ve seen nada in the paper regarding any evidence other thatn the “snithch” that use on such a large scale it is obscene. Also I would mention that a big part of the problem is the publics inhability to access court records, specifically trial transcripts. Like other types of public information, which cities and counties charge ridiculously outragous fees so that the public doesn’t have ready access to info and cannot participate in the political process. The same goes for court records which, if the public could readily access it, would automatically allow the public to hold judges and prosecutors accountable. Unfourtunately that’s not going to happen any time soom. Thanks in large part to those other predators-court reporters and their lobbiests. Any response would be appreciated.
